The purpose of the 2006 International Forum was to hold a meeting with writing instrument associations from around the world to discuss key issues of mutual interest affecting the industry. Overall the meeting was a great success in promoting a better understanding of issues they face in their domestic markets, improve international cooperation, trade and the communication amongst international writing instrument organizations.
