With over $4.5 billion in sales yearly, the writing
instrument industry faces new challenges every day. Each one impacts the
sale of pens,
pencils, markers, erasers that are sold separately, or components of these
instruments. The voice
of this industry that helps members deal with these issues is the Writing Instrument
Manufacturers Association (WIMA). Since merging with the Pencil Makers Association
in 1994, WIMA has strengthened its voice, making the impact of this Association
even
stronger.
